Expansion of Mavis Practice Area Topics

Spend some time exploring the numerous categories of content in the Practice Area of Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing.

Not only does this section help you save time by providing ready-made content, but it often sparks the imagination and curiosity of your students. When they show an interest in expanding on one of the topics, encourage them to research it, and create new files for them in pursuance of their interest. For example, if they like the rain forest, have them go to the library or log-on the Internet and create specific lists or a write a short one page piece. This is also a good opportunity to build Custom Lessons and use them as source materials for the entire group.
