Activity 6 - Oxymorons

Oxymorons are contradictory terms that we use in our daily language. Have a brainstorming session with students in class and build several lists for typing practice.

 alone together organized mess

 baby grand (piano) original copy

 fast idle partially completed

 fresh frozen passive aggressive

 guest host plastic glasses

 hopelessly optimistic pretty ugly

 irate patient random logic

 jumbo shrimp standard deviation

 live recording student teacher

 non-stop flight unacceptable solution

 old news working vacation

Once completed, create a Custom Lesson. If you want to play a game, separate the sets from each other with a punctuation mark that gives added practice. For example: alone together; baby grand (piano); random logic; and fast idle.
