About Calendar Building Blocks

Calendar Titles. These text boxes describe the current time period and view. (In a month view, the calendar time period might be December 2002 and the view title Monthly Planner.)

Calendar Cell. This is the basic unit of a calendar and the top layer. (A day view contains hour cells, a month view contains day cells, etc.)

Calendar Grid. This is the collection of cells that makes up the calendar "period" and the middle layer of the calendar. A period is the span of time represented on one page of a calendar. The grid may also contain weekday, month, date, or hour and minute labels depending on the selected view.

Calendar Background. This is the page background of your calendar. The Title, Grid and Cell building blocks are layered on top of the background.
