Using the Image Set Manager

Calendar Creator's Image Set Manager makes it easy to create and add or edit an image set in a calendar view. You can use personal photos or images from the Art Gallery to create each image set.

To add an Image Set to the Image Set Manager:

  1. With a calendar view displaying that does not contain an image set object, do one of the following:

  2. Choose Image Set from the Add menu.

  3. Click the Add Image Set img button on the Add toolbar.

  4. Enter an Image Set Name in the New Image Set dialog box, then click OK.

The Image Set Manager dialog box displays.

  1. Add images to the image set by clicking the Browse button to locate images on your hard drive or, click the Art Gallery button to add images from the Gallery.

Note: When adding images from the Art Gallery, you can right-click on the image and select Add to Image Set from the menu to copy the selected image into the Image Set while allowing the Gallery to remain open.

  1. You can modify the picture object rotation, tint, size and placement by using the buttons to the right of the Image Set Preview browser.

Note: Click or Ctrl Click on images in the set to make modifications or click the Select All button to make the same modifications to all the images in the set.

  1. You can delete an image or images from the set by selecting them and clicking the Delete button.

  2. When you are satisfied with your selections, click the OK button to save the Image Set.

The new image set is saved with the calendar collection initially opened in the workspace.

To edit an Image Set in the Image Set Manager:

  1. With a calendar view displaying that contains an image set object, do one of the following:

  2. Double-click on an image set object, select the Image Set tab from the Layout Object Properties dialog box, then click the Image Set Manager button.

  3. Click on the Image Set Manager img button on the Format toolbar.

  4. You can edit the Image Set by adding, deleting or rearranging images. You can also change the appearance of images with features to Rotate, Flip and Tint.

  5. When you are satisfied with your selections, click the OK button to save the edited Image Set.

The edited image set is saved with the calendar view opened in the workspace.

Tip: To use an image set in another calendar view: open the original calendar view in which it was created, select a new calendar view from the drop-down menu, click the Add Image Set button, select the image set to add and click OK.
